TIL that Most MacDonald's Restaurants are NOT BBB Accredited!!!

lol I haven't even heard of this BBB before seeing this post.

And who do you trust more?

Taxi:

  • no registry of when and where did you board the car.

  • no information on who's the driver.

  • no candies and bottled water.

  • expensive and dirty.

  • would use an old wagon if possible.

  • they keep complaining they don't make enough money.

Uber, Lyft and any other company that isn't stuck in the 50's:

  • the system keeps a log of your location and destination.

  • you know who's the driver and can relay that information out to anyone "just in case".

  • candies and bottled water on the house.

  • affordable and clean.

  • if their rating falls below 4.7 they can't work.

  • people richer than you are quitting their jobs to be Uber drivers.

And color me surprised, you did not get the example. If there's more than one group of inspectors inspecting places and giving their seals of approval, there will be competition for which seal is the most trustworthy, and you can pick places based on who inspected and gave a seal of approval. As of now, you have only the FDA to do that, and you can only trust their seal; but if the market was opened and many companies took on the health inspection job, you'd have much higher standards.
