TIL in North Korea they force prisoners onto major roadways to pick up trash

Innocent prisoners exist here too. The prison state is not somehow more just because it's American.

The equivalent here is waterboarding. Which we do to other nations citizens. American can and does torture people. I have a friend who works to do just that to people for the army.

I mean you are talking about differences of such small degrees that there isn't a way you can justify one and not the other.

It's as though you ignore the entire justice code of the US military. Not just against innocent combatants but also those who commit crimes while serving. There is no jury. There is not an impartial anything and they give no rights.

A jury doesn't also make things just. Not to mention when a jury thinks jail they don't think all the horrible things that entails, they think thecriminals must be "off the streets" type propaganda is true. If it were criminality might be determined by the large numbers hurt or scammed and not nonviolent and victimless crimes.

Idk seems like you are willing to overlook a lot to get your finger pointed.
