TIL people with higher IQs are found to suffer from more mental health problems. While data shows highly intelligent people have a greater life expectancy, it found higher IQs result in increased reports of mental health problems like depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and others.

I wonder how many people on this site would be so intelligent in a face to face conversation without using the Internet. My guess is 95-98%. I have an IQ of 138 so I could join MENSA but I would be. A very small fish in that group.

A quotient measure is just that. There are 9 types of intelligence and most people only excel in some of them, that includes people with extreme IQ. The areas that I would lack in are intra-personal, interpersonal and existential. So I'm not great at understanding inner self, not too good with people and I don't have any idea why we are here.

My greatest talent is music. I think if I went deaf it would be a death sentence for me. I'm kind of prone to depression too.
