TIL when child actor Jackie Coogan turned 18, he found out that all his money ($68 million) had been spent by his mother who argued that that every dollar a child makes before the age of 21 belongs to his parents. Coogan's law was then passed to protect child actors.

I watched "why" go down in real life last weekend. I watched a motorcyclist die after he drove off a cliff.

My first thought when I saw him go over was "thank god he missed the trees."

My second thought was "he should have aimed for the trees...."

My third thoughts and on were less empathetic as I got a taste of EMT life.

For the underpaid EMT homies out there... I had to perform a resuscitation effort on a 300 lbs dude at the bottom of a 30ft, near cliff of a ravine and helped the EMS guys haul him up. How the fuck do you do, what you do?

I hurt. Everywhere.

I had a not-terribly kind outlook on fat people before, but now the obesity epidemic is frightening and appalling. Fuck fat people. Selfish cocksuckers. All fat people should be in padded bubbles so their selfishness doesn't bleed health issues into others.

No motorcycles for BMI ratings above 30, or a bright, neon, glowing, DNR bracelet should come with it. No, your "health" isn't worth mine, an EMTs (no, $14/hr does not mean they should ever jeopardize their health for yours,) or anyone else's you entitled motherfuckers.

Frankly, EMT's the kind of job where I'd make some horrible political statement if I were in charge. I'd tell my EMTS that anyone over 200 lbs, just instantly call a crane. (Non-fat, and tall dudes would probably understand the effects of their size better and would be more understanding of the crane than the porkers.) Cheaper than medical bills, $14/hr sure as shit isn't worth anyone's health (in my region), and when everyone gets crane shamed, shit changes. Probably a lawsuit at me, not really the change I'd want, but I'd have made my point.

...I'm in a lot of pain and am probably using this reply to say things I'd get crucified for in real life.
