TIL when MAD published a parody of Star Wars, George Lucas' lawyers demanded the issue be recalled and that Lucasfilm receive all revenue from the issue. Unbeknownst to Lucas' lawyers, MAD had just received a letter from Lucas, expressing delight over it and comparing the artist to Leonardo Da Vinci

I don’t believe in gender being anything more than socially constructed roles so I can’t answer about ‘nonbinary’ identifying people. Ideas like boys being boisterous and girls being clean and other gender norms are, imo, just offensive.

To me there’s males, which means they will grow up to be the people capable of contributing sperm to reproduction and females, who will grow up to be capable of contributing the ova. Of course this is barring injury, disease, or disorder of the systems that would otherwise make one of two possible gametes.

Why is it impossible for the school to be measuring sexed differences between the two groups to see if gaps are occurring considering we know that gendered socialisation impacts learning.
