TIL A woman was convicted of murder of her son. Authorities suspected antifreeze poisoning. After she went to prison, Stallings gave birth to another child; he was diagnosed with methylmalonic acidemia, a medical condition that can mimic antifreeze poisoning. Stallings was then released from prison.

I don’t trust the system at all either... I was incarcerated for a few months this year, and without going into detail, my diagnosis of borderline personality disorder was deemed as not eligible for some kinda mental health diversion or treatment. I guess the system just saw me as this lost cause. It was truly demoralizing and debilitating, on top of the mentally ill behavior that got me arrested.

Not only did the mental health system completely fail me, but so did the justice system. I would’ve continued to spiral downward if it weren’t for ME pulling MYSELF up and digging deep into DBT and Soto Zen meditation.

A big fat middle finger to the system that thought I was a lost cause; a threat to society. The only thing I’m a threat to is their paychecks!
