That's were we disagree I guess, I figure life is temporary anyway so who cares when we die, I'd gladly die right now if it meant it would actually make a difference for other people/animals. Hell even if we just stopped having kids we could live like royalty and blow through all the resources we have and then just die off and it'd be fine. The way that we as humans currently live is destroying our planet and ruining the lives of future generations, we could easily prevent that suffering but we're just too selfish to actually do it, so the way I see it we'll eventually die off and eventually everything will even out again for all the animals that have been caught up in our frivolous pollution.
