It's time for the fans to admit that Man of Steel was just okay

I think a problem with these movies is the same as the problem Megan Foxs character has in the first transformer movie.

Her character was legitimately fantastic in the first movie. She complains that she’s only seen as a sex symbol, she’s just a hot girl but she’s had a rough upbringing, she’s talented with cars and she’s a risk taker. She legit has no reason to be there in the final battle and she’s still there in the deep of it. She shows throughout the movie that she’s not just a hot chick.

But the movie? The movie just frames her figure, her ass, her breasts. The camera frames her as a sex symbol instead of the person she is. Framing wins.

And these movies try to say that Clark is a man and not just a god but they can’t stop framing Supes as a detached god. They take the man out of the Superman. So while they try to show he’s just a guy trying to do the right thing that’s not what I get while I watch them. He seems to me as a brooding detached god who seems to be upset at these little people and they way they see him and interact with him.
