I did misuse the term single shot, I own a single shot .22 and yes I didn’t know how many rounds assault rifles hold, we don’t see them in Canada. You’re missing the point though.

If someone walks into a school with a bolt action Hunting rifle, like my Winchester model 70 .270 vs. anyone of those guns in the right column, semi or fully automatic, who’s gonna destroy more lives? We all know the answer it’s been debated over and over.

I get that you guys (I’m assuming your American) love your guns. 2nd amendment, yada yada. That was written when they had muzzle loaded guns. Times have changed. There’s no reason for civilians to have access to a weapon who’s soul purpose is killing mass amounts of people. Unfortunately it’s gonna take some politician or powerful persons’ Child to be killed in a mass shooting for the laws to change. As far as “needing guns for protection” a 12 gauge is plenty.
