Time Warner Cable sued by New York on behalf of League of Legends, Netflix customers

That remains to be seen at this point, but maybe. There's a lot of talk about respecting Germans as the leaders of the free world, but pretty much all of Europe is facing it's fair share of problems. Most of Asia isn't highly developed, with the possible exception of Japan, but they don't even recognize same sex marriages. Maybe France, but its closeness with the who refugee stuff gives it trouble. I don't know what's happening in Spain or Australia. Idk. If I had to guess I'd still go with the US.

The US already set the standard for IP, and that's actively taking its toll on the world. Despite the mass corruption and thinly veiled racism the US's actions in moving away from reckless globalism (i.e. kicking the TTP) are broadly and tentatively speaking the right thing to do. The world will globalize in due time whether folks like it or not, but there are a lot of details that have to be worked out and a lot of coruption that needs to be stifled in the mean time.

The US also still holds the best higher educational institutes in the world and invest more into that digital and intellectual infrastructure than anyone else. Ideally we'd make predictions off of some sort of first derivative, but we have what we have.
