Tinder success story: we (a Texan and a Michigander) matched during quarantine using the passport feature in e-Paris. After many zoom dates and phone calls, I flew out to Michigan and we went on a road trip. We're meeting again in Colorado in two weeks :-)

Yup that’s totally fair in my opinion. Here in New Zealand, we’re mostly free to live life as normal because we have been handling the whole ordeal extremely well. I guess it was easy to assume that you meant what you said as a blanket statement for unaffected and affected places alike.

And my entire point with the covid specific rate, is that if the spread of the virus isn’t properly controlled, then the infection rate obviously increases, and the medical systems won’t be able to handle that, resulting in a greater death rate compared to recovery rate, and thus a greater loss in humanity overall in the future

I guess you can sum up my entire line of thought as trying to get ahead of the exponential infection rate of the virus, so that the healthcare system can most effectively prevent needless deaths and life changing detrimental effects in those who do recover. And so that when the world gets past it, the total number of deaths worldwide isn’t some crazy number like 100mil.

Either way dude, I got no hate or anything for ya, just thought I’d express my thoughts. Have a good day/night wherever you are :)
