Tiny POV of the new Battle Rifles (TL;DR: they're OP AF with good aim)

Edit: many asked why I think the fully automatic mode is a bonus.

Well, I think no matter how good your timing is, you'll have minor accumulating delays when you are using a semi-automatic weapon: you'll be imprecise, have input lag, or simply wait for a better chance to shoot. In the end of the day, these all add up to a slower RoF total. For this reason, the fully automatic mode will, in practice and for the most part, give the Dragoon the greatest raw DPS output of all 3 while the mag lasts.

very true. if this wasn't the case, everyone were better with burst carbs than with auto-carb tiers.

As we speak the auto-recoil has been toned down, don't have any numbers here but either this or I got alot better with the Dragoon overnite and I shot alot with it.

With a 2x it's a laser hitting like a truck. ROF being less forgiving compared to an SOAS is about the only downside, but the whole point of playing Infiltrator - and imho the Dragoon will be mainly an infiltrator gun/ high caliber autoscout - is that you get to shoot first, so huge alpha, with ADS (move) 0 COF is op AF.

rule of thumb:

if a gun is great in VR with headshots but pretty shitty with bodyshots (yes, I'm looking at you Tomoe) it's gonna be difficult gun on live.

If a gun is devastating with HS and still very good with bodyshots I'm confident that I can make work on live.
