Tipping delivery drivers, do you ever get your food? Is it cold when it arrives 2 hours later.

Has nothing to do with “deserve” and everything to do with the fact that someone is doing you a favor… you have the opportunity to get it yourself, why Arent you? Being entitled is expecting someone to do something for you to help you and expecting them to do it for free or for nothing. I cant imagine being like “hey im lazy and dont feel like driving 20 minutes to get mcdonalds, let me get someone else to do it for me as a favor for free. Why should i pay them for helping me out?” your paying for the convenience more than anything. Its convenient to order delivery. But at the end of the day you 100% have the option of going to get it yourself. And that in itself is free to do. You are paying someone to do it for you. the tip is your thank you for having someone do something for you… no clue why people cant grasp that concept. The whole “people should be doing everything for me but i have no intention of doing anything for them” is such a disgusting and entitled way of thinking. Those people have never worked for anything in their lives and couldnt survive in the real world.
