Tipping and Ratings. Drivers and Riders

First time driver, just started monday. 5 stars average. 10 trips, 5-5 star ratings, 1-5 star comment. Estimated earnings $200. Time online 20/hrs.

Example. On Tuesday I drove for 27 minutes (not covered) out of town to pick up pax. Pax has a friend that needs to go to work in my town (24 minutes, covered). Pax is going 122 minutes south of my town (covered). I need to drive 112 minutes to get back to my home town which I am signed up to drive in (not covered). With an Estimated payout $141.18. Total time spent. 4.75 hrs. Granted on the 204 miles round trip i'm only going to have to pay taxes on $110.16 (actually, idk how that works lol), thus I probably made like 25 dollars an hour after taxes. But also, since I won't see a dime of that money till next Thursday, i'm pretty much sunk till then and cant drive because I have no gas and can't access instant pay for first 2 weeks and also until I complete 25 trips.

With cabs tipping 15 to 20 percent of your fare is a good rule of thumb, but you can tip more or less depending on your experience.

If pax tipped us, at that rate, I wouldn't be sunk till Next thursday and could continue being an awesome 5 star driver. Did I mention I am super nice and can read people well. I let them pick the music or none, drive a bit faster and smarter if they are in a hurry. Let them lead the conversation. Help them with their bags, and make sure they have everything before they get out of my car.
