Tips for new drivers so that they don't anger other drivers?

IME people don't tend to get annoyed by stalling or anything else that's clearly related to being a newish/nervous driver. The kind of things that will get an angry or aggressive response are inconsiderate or dangerous maneouvres - like forcing your way past parked vehicles on your side of the road when you should really be giving way to oncoming traffic, or cutting people up after over-taking. Try to avoid doing anything selfish/in contravention of the highway code, and/or hold your hand up to apologise if you make a genuine mistake and you should be ok. Also, if someone gets angry just because you are driving slower than they would, then they are not a great driver themselves - you get to decide how fast feels safe/appropriate (within the limit) and you are not obligated to drive right up to the limit if it doesn't feel right (eg bad weather). They need to learn some patience.
