Tips for a tall person (6'5") in SEA?

Im 6'2 and I have to say the only "actual" problems that I faced was the buses.

After a few overnight trips I got tired of killing my knees and back and conceded to the fact that those buses are made for regular sized people, and started taking flights if I was traveling further away or to a neighboring country.

AirAsia flights will run you 20-100$ depending on the distance and time of year. For example I flew from KL to Singapore for 25$, but Chiang Mai to Hanoi was 80$.

I still think its much more worth it to take a 1 hour flight and spending that extra twenty bucks on the flight.

Oh and as for pictures and such? Well I got asked to do a quick (1-2 min) interview by female uni students once in Bangkok and once in Yogyakarta but both of those times were very polite and the students were adorably shy. No need to worry.
