I don't know about subleases but you're fine to still find apartments...the practice of trying to lease out apartments 10-11 months in advance is some real bullshit imo...you don't know how you like the place you live yet (if you want to re-sign) and you don't know how you're going to feel about some new place almost a year in the future. Anyways, I have a 1BR in Arbor Apartments (through University Group), I know that at the very least mine hasn't been leased out yet haha but it's a decent, relatively inexpensive place (w/utilities and parking I pay 615/mo for the 3rd floor) if you don't mind living in the middle of frat city (the sidewalks and streets get pretty fuckin nasty, especially on weekends, not to mention it gets pretty noisy).
