Tips: How to approach models and other industry professionals when you want to co-op with them

Alright, few things.

I was trying to be a legit photographer, not exploiting young girls.

Shoot nudes or don't, but don't get all judgey on those of us who do.

My issue is that when girls start on model mayhem (no experience) they will be approached by a lot of photographers. Some offer to pay money for nudes....or people like me looking for trade.

Yes, people prefer paid work to trade. Shocking discovery.

Just frustrating that other guys pay just to see naked chicks and it's not even modeling after that.

So models shouldn't be able to make a living? They should just survive on free framed photos and instagram likes? No wonder people don't take you up.

But you made a lot of assumptions about me, including entitlement.

Not an assumption anymore.

I work very hard to do my shoots, spend my own time and money.

And models don't?

Those are terms that are applied to men far too often without thought as to whether or not it is true.

Because they are true. Models routinely deal with creeps and either power through it or leave. I've heard too many stories from models I've worked with to discount it as just random incidents. This is a common thing they deal with.
