Depends on what kind of brain you’ve got.

I’m not a big reader - as far as music goes - so reading blogs like Cut N Paste or music mags like MRR aren’t my bag.

When I look for new music I tend to go to Spotify for recommendations, browse what’s new on Bandcamp, or scroll through the various good ‘punk’ channels on YouTube and listen to full albums (favorites of mine include Anti, Harakiri Diat, Atom Vinter, and No Punks in K-Town)

If you haven’t gotten into local gigs yet, go to the bandcamp link for punk and make it specific to your area. Figure out what bands near you that you like the most and go to their gigs. When you do that, you’ll be exposed to other bands you might like and like-minded people that can turn you on to stuff you dig too.
