Titanthread (Worldwide Launch Edition) - News, Guides, Information, and Discussion

Alaskan gamer checking, initially thinking colossus, avoided demos because didnt want to spoil my experience, watched tons of vids, ended up starting with storm since(ive played since vanilla and mainly tank and have run a wow raiding guild since 2013, and mained sunbreaker and defender titan in D1/D2) this game so far is everything ive hoped for an more. I feel like an arcane mage with a perma levitate! The combo system is SO SATISFYING cant wait until I actually have new spell seals(or whatever it was called sorry noob) to use, the flying mechanic is absolutely amazing and TBH blows the sparrow mechanic right out the damn window and WoW's flying as well(love u blizz, can we get speed flyers with CD'S??)

Games as a live service gets thrown around alot but to me this is an mmo, even if it is derivative or an iteration on the genre, im always happy to support what seems to be simultaneously at once both a dying and highly populated genre. The dialog and the story hooked me in almost immediately, I love Owen's snarkiness, wish I hadnt watched a gameplay vid(that was supposed to be endgame storm builds) that hinted at some sort of betrayal(thanks for not warning about spoilers!) Fort tarsis looks AMAZING, the sprint thing is awesome, the conversations are great.....granted I'm only a couple hours in but Tarsis feels like it has that Destiny 1 level of space, enough to show atmosphere and context, but not D2's level of huge empty spaces with literally nothing in them. Cant wait to playmore, hope to see you ingame free lancers. Strong Alone, Stronger Together!
