Tkol blew me away

Lmao, 37 minutes is certainly a full length album. It's longer than most classic albums by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, REM, Velvet Underground, Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, etc. Countless albums ranked among the best of all time by numerous lists are shorter than TKOL. Also, even recently, there's been a trend of shorter albums than TKOL. Several "albums" released in 2018 were 20-25 min, like Daytona by Pusha T. In terms of song number, 8 is also perfectly normal for an album. Many albums of the '70s-80s, the era RH grew up, have 8 songs or even fewer. Some albums actually have only one or two songs.

The idea TKOL is unusually short is absurd, especially when both Amnesiac and In Rainbows are less than five minutes longer than TKOL, Eraser is less than three minutes longer, and Kid A is also around the same length if you delete the silence that was added in to separate the hidden track from MPS. Treefingers is a masterpiece but the common view on this sub is that it doesn't count as a real song, and if you subtract both Treefingers and the hidden track silence from Kid A, it is nearly the same length as TKOL. The common view on this sub is also that Hunting Bears and even Pulk/Pull and Morning Bell/Amnesiac don't count as real songs (again, a dumb view) and if you subtract those from Amnesiac, you end up with a shorter album than TKOL.
