[TN] Disability Accommodation & Disability Harassment

The worst part of being sick is constantly having to prove to people how sick you actually are.

I *am* one of the few people who needs accommodation. I used to take breaks walking from my bed to my bathroom, while living in the master bedroom. I couldn't leave the house to step outside on the porch because it was too bright and noisy and I live in the country. It took me 3-8 years to get diagnosed. My nervous system is destroyed. My doctor wrote on my FMLA paperwork that my condition is chronic and it will never improve.

I went in at 8 am last week, like they requested, for the first time in 3.5 years. By Friday, I was working fully in bed, something I haven't had to do in months. I've been following their requests. It's disappointing when people make assumptions about me and my condition.

I used to run marathons. I don't want to live like this. No one does.
