Today I made friends with an "entitled boomer"

I did a poor job making my point. I meant if you believe that people can do their best and still make mistakes, then you wouldn’t assign all of the world’s problems to “the Boomers”. I’m Gen X so that generation includes my parents, Aunts, Uncles and many mentors. They’re just people who had the same hopes, fears, triumphs and disappointments as other generations. They’ve won some and they’ve lost some. It is intellectually lazy to think they’re all completely out of touch and lack value - let alone assign all that is wrong in the world to them. Problems are inherent to the human condition. Someday you’ll be in that age group and It would be a shame if the ones who are 30 or 40 years behind you think your generation is the source of all their problems, because they would be wrong too.
