Today is my forced retirement

Honestly if you're in a position where you have true insider information then your salary + bonuses will have you rolling in cash, otherwise you're not handling insider information and the banks just wants to cover their own ass so you don't potentially tarnish THEIR reputation. How will they check to verify if you have a Robinhood account or not? They can't. I doubt any big bank will pass you trade-able information anyways, they keep things under lock and key, maybe if you're working in the front office you might have some exposure. If you really want to follow the rules though then they probably have trading windows when they allow you to trade.
