Today is National Coming Out Conservative Day. Share your story of coming out conservative or as a Trump supporter

I was a centrist. I leaned right and supported Bush and McCain a little, but did not vote for Romney. I went overseas to do some war stuff a few times and the last trip made me really question the motives of the Democrats under Obama, and how worse it could get under Clinton.

I returned home and went to college thinking naively that I'd get a good discussion from all sides. Boy was I wrong. I was bombarded with leftism and socialism and zero conservative values were painted remotely as positive. That was the red pill. I am a day 1 Trump supporter and university turned me into an unabashed conservative- publicly. I began doing "blackboard" discussions from a conservative point of view, and began calling out bullshit in class- I like to scrap so it was fine. I have endured a lot of abuse, lost friends, and am not largely welcome to campus or private events because I am a Trump supporter. That's okay, they aren't value added if they can't separate my personality from my politics. I'd rather drink beer with working folks than academics (except Brett K!) any day.

I was one of the first in my area to get my MAGA hat, I have a Trump sticker on my vehicles, and a sign in my yard. I stump for Republicans in a blue county. I'm unashamed, unafraid, and know if we don't vote Republican, we lose our Republic to the mob rule of the Democrats...it's in their name!

If you're coming out today, it takes guts and I'm proud of everyone who takes a stand. MAGA
