You obviously dont like being a witness anymore and should take a stand and stop going. You're wasting 10 hours of your life a month for something you obviously dont believe anymore. I think the fault is that quite a few talks given now talk about not getting "higher education" to focus on preaching... but so many parents and witnesses take that the wrong way and take it that they are saying dont go to school period. There is no principle in the bible that suggest not going to College. People forget that they preach that most things are a conscience matter so that leaves a lot of grey areas that's up to you. And the reason they say there is a deficit is because the assembly hall is just a building for meetings period. They just need to cover the cost of bills and supplies and that's it. Any extra money would be useless to have, so it gets sent to the branch. Deficit just tells you that more money was spent than what came in on that weekend but there is always money in the bank for bills. Besides you can be a witness all your life and never give money so that shouldn't be an issue. I use to do the accounts. There is nothing sinister happening with the money or alternative motive.
