Toe Drag Swag from 2014

That's the only Cowboys loss I look back on fondly, and honestly it's one of my favorite games of all time.

It was also the point where my dad finally admitted to being wrong about Romo. I never thought the day would come, but I guess everyone has their limits and for him it was watching the guy hang 48 points on the Broncos while our defense got torched for 51 and let the world's least mobile QB bootleg his way to the game-winner.

The box score alone is a wild ride. Twill for 150 yards, Dez for 140 and Witten for 120. Romo gets sacked four times yet carries a perfect passer rating all the way up to the desperation INT at the end. Decker catches a 60-yard pass that is somehow only the third-longest of the day, Cowboys only make it to third down six times in 11 drives, and both teams combine for a grand total of one punt the entire game.

I could give you a thousand reasons Tony Romo is my favorite player of all time, but that day pretty much says it all. Only #9 could throw for 5 TD/510 yards and proceed to get blamed for losing. I never thought I'd be at peace with him missing out on a ring, but looking back I honestly just appreciate the ride. I'd relive that decade of shenanigans in a heartbeat. My dad and I will be starting sentences with the phrase "Remember that time Tony..." for the rest of time.
