Toe walking is not cute

Would it help reduce your anger by reframing this? People aren't being ignorant to be malicious or rude. They genuinely don't know any better. They see a kid doing something different and they're probably trying to be positive by commenting on it being cute. Could you practice a response like "oh it's actually been really difficult for us and causes lots of stress, but we're getting it looked at". This might make them think and reflect a bit better.

I know you've probably had it considered, but I always thought toe walking was a key sign of autism. Have you had that looked into? Or is she physically incapable of flattening her foot out? Hope you guys get some answers and help soon. Sounds really frustrating.
