I told my friend I don't like her dog being in the room with us and she got mad

If a dog is properly trained I have no issues with it being in a room with me but I have issues with dog owners who don’t train their dogs to behave. I don’t like dogs jumping on me or licking me, it gives me anxiety. I don’t feel comfortable being affirmative with dogs that aren’t my own so it makes me uncomfortable to be put in a situation like OP described. I’m saying this because I feel like the issue most of the time isn’t the dog itself but instead the owner neglecting to train their dog to behave, so if someone expresses discomfort its not an attack on the dog. They’re dogs, it’s not like they understand human social norms lol. Does that make sense?
