Tom Brady called Malcolm Butler several times before Butler signed with the Titans because he was “really concerned”

If the "team's culture" is to have him play 98 percent of regular season snaps and then bench him during the SB without explanation, and the "team's culture" is to pay him far less than other teams would, then it seems pretty unfair to suggest he is the one throwing up red flags. Bear in mind this man didn't have to say anything as a prerequisite for cashing his checks, and instead he said kind things about the organization that wouldn't be signing them anymore.

This guy was a great Patriot, and he helped bring home two titles. Picking apart these unrelentingly positive remarks is completely off-base. Maybe he will be a bust for Tennessee, maybe he'll be phenomenal, but his talent warrants this kind of contract and he isn't wrong to say so.
