Tom Hardy questioned about his sexuality by clueless reporter

Should movies that tell the story of struggling ethnic groups, have people from that ethnic group as part of the movie?

How about a movie about the historical struggles of being an African American during the start of America, where all African actors are played why white men, pretending to be African.

How about a movie on the struggles of WW2 and how it affected Jewish families personally, all played by actors who are all white with German/British/French backgrounds and no connection to Judaism or Jewish life all pretending to do stereotypical "Jewish voices" and "Jewish behaviors". Spoiler alert this is happening! *Armageddon time is coming out soon, which is a scenario just like this and it has enraged a large portion of the Jewish community. A tale on the struggles of Jews without a single Jew in it for even perspective.**

How about a movie on the struggles communities face in Mexico due to the corrupt government, all played by white dudes from Kansas pretending to have a thick accent?

How about a story on gay men and the struggles this community faces due to the lifetime of self confusion, hatred, unwelcome family environments, forced homelessness many LGBT face and generally the life many LGBT face and the laws of discrimination all played by straight men who have no connection to the LGBT community. Straight actors can never truly understand the lifetime of struggles many LGBT face via discrimination and just by existing.

Robert Downey Jr did blackface in a movie tropic thunder, would you claim that his role is an authentic African American role? I mean he is pretending to be African so why isn't it a legitimate African role? This is your thought process

You wouldn't want an actor in blackface, it's the same thing. Discrimination is discrimination. Pretending to be black when you are white or another race is discrimination, just as pretending to be gay when you straight, is discrimination of LGBT.
