Tom Izzo calls out B1G for “Reprimand” of UM in Michigan Stadium tunnel incident

I think the problem is less of MSU wanting to be the victim and more of MSU being done with the way we are painted comparatively. That’s what Izzo has been talking about. Let’s look at the facts.

The tunnel incident just happened. Clearly our fault. 100% on the MSU football team.

However, early THIS year Juwan (the face of the second most popular sport) assaulted another coach. He got a 5 game suspension and a 40k fine was ready to go for March madness. No charges.

Currently the US is dealing with a mass wave of antisemitism. In the midst of this UM backup running back and leading rusher VS OSU made blatant antisemitic comments. No punishment, but an apology.

As a matter a fact also earlier this year UM was fined $500 million dollars because of a doctor who had been sexually assaulting over 1000 students during a 40 year career. How come the media went fucking crazy over Nassar and ESPN even tried to put blame on Izzo? Yet for some reason there’s like 6 stories on the Michigan incident and no one really cares.

Now I don’t say all of this to just be “oh well he Said, she said.” I say this to tell you why Izzo is mad. Other programs face similar things on a year to year basis. Fact of the matter is no program is perfect and you will have the dumbasses like the people in the tunnel incident. However, when it comes to the media it always seems like when stuff happens within MSU it’s this massive story where everyone’s involved and we should be fined out the ass and mines as well shut down the whole program. When it’s Michigan these stories typically become an after thought by the end of the week and no one gives a shit. That’s been Izzos main problem with everything. The media never drops it with MSU like they do with UM is his belief.
