To me, it's very obviously a story about human life being a prison of eternal madness, and the only way out is to kill oneself (not advisable - you'll probably just get a reset on this life in judgement) or find God. But then again, I'm probably just like the author of the movie, in some ways, and would be immediately cast out and called a freak, just as he is constantly shoved under the bus because his message isn't consistently delivered the way hollywood has taught us "is the only way" (which, frankly, is bullshit, but to get weird enough to see what is really going on in reality, you gotta leave the lady, the job, and most of normal society - some of us are doing it these days and there's a hint, in those folks, that tells there might be something golden about the intent of this movie).
