Are you really saying we should not do something because it doesn't benefit everyone on this planet? Stock markets allow us to further our personal wealth. Millions of pensioners benefit. The Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund which puts the nation ahead of most is where it is because the Norwegian Government invested into companies who did the investing for them. Just because something doesn't benefit everyone doesn't mean it's not good. The fact that it helps hundreds of millions of people in the developed world itself is A-OK for me you annoying hippy.
