Imo the perfect item debate is pointless.
If GGG dropped the weighting of all T1 mods to 2, perfect items would be extremely difficult to make once more, maybe even harder, but that doesn’t solve any problems.
The issue is that harvest is just massive needless power creep, and I think we can easily keep deterministic crafting without it needing to come with being OP for free.
When Conquerors of the Atlas was released, many of us were wearing boots that read: 23 mana, tailwind, elusive, 13% fire resist, 21% movement speed (crafted). That was good enough back then, those boots today are considered trash.
Being able to deterministically pick what stats go on items should come at the cost of higher tiers being even harder to roll.
