So I did the OPIc which is a computer proctored test. I had to fill out a questionnaire estimating my level - they had 5 levels of explanation on what you think you'd fall into.

An AI avatar then asked me questions (17 of them). Once it gets done asking, it starts recording immediately, so you gotta be on your toes and there is no re-recording anything. Sometimes you get 30 secs, 1 minute, or 2 minutes (with complex questions). Some are followup questions along the same vein.

It was over general topics (I can't mention what specifically due to an agreement on the test, but they have examples on the website). I struggled on some questions, but I did the best I could and re-phrased if I lacked the vocabulary. I'm honestly surprised - I went in there shooting for Intermediate-Mid, but got way higher.
