You can raise any dog to have a calm, sweet disposition.

You can also raise any dog to have an aggressive disposition.

No dog is really naturally aggressive or docile. They grow up how they're raised, or lack thereof.

The issue is the undeniable difference between training a golden retriever to have an aggressive disposition versus training a pitbull to have an aggressive disposition.

One is clearly more dangerous, simply due to the physical differences between the two. It is why those breeds are chosen more often for aggressive (often illegal) purposes.

It's the difference in having a loaded shotgun versus a hand grenade. When one goes off, it's generally and in a lot of cases far worse than if the other had, for no other reason than physical design.
