Trump supporters - Nevermind thinking about anything in geopolitical terms (this comes later in the comment). Just simply decide whether or not you think Putin is a "good guy". You either think he is or isn't. Putin has now undoubtedly attempted to manipulate American elections in favor of both Trump & Bernie. The right question you ask is "Why?" - Figuring he would logically favor either one or the other. But, the right answer you don't see is that Putin hates America. He's trying to erode American confidence in the legitimacy of our elections, and by extension, democracy in general. He's an enemy to ALL patriotic Americans. He wants the 2020 Presidential election result to cause civil strife (if not civil war), destabilizing our county to Russia's benefit.

Unfortunately, Putin is either blackmailing Trump or playing him like a puppet, knowing he is the world's most transparent malignant narcissist. You don't need to do much guessing knowing how to manipulate someone when you know what motivates them with such certainty.

You may well have found yourself agreeing with the 1st paragraph, but not the 2nd. How can I say such a thing without knowing for sure? I just want you to consider the stances of Republicans vs Democrats in their support of "anti-election interference" bills. Bernie strongly supports them. Trump doesn't.
