Yep. People keep spamming "Google Ads" money spent as if that means anything. No shit they didn't spend on Google, they focused almost entirely on social media, on which they were spending millions.

But I do think that's the bigger thing to take away, they had such a big impact because they exploited the viral aspect of social media.
