Top oversight Democrat demands that Trump officially certify that he's turned over all sensitive documents taken from the White House

Didn’t his lawyers already certify that only to be proven wrong? I guess if Trump personally certified it they would have him on the hook for perjury instead of his lawyers. But I really think he needs to give some answers under oath rather than signing an affidavit crafted by lawyers and then trying to wiggle out of it later.

FTFY

That is his strategy, through and through. Throw as much shit (people, opinions, paperwork, bureaucracy) at the problem and slink away. What frustrates me the most is his freaking boldness about it all. I see it said all the time: "If a normal person didn't pay their contractor (among the many other things he is accused of) they would be in court and it would be handled in under a week.". Or some such idea.

I have no idea why I said all this because it doesn't fucking matter anyway. Trump won't ever see the inside of a cell. Our planet is getting hotter and we won't do a fucking thing about it except munch popcorn while watching a rich person get richer while under investigation.....

I hate being an American citizen sometimes.
