Top performer rewards

I should’ve said this, you tried to make the point that the extra break was good because it helps with burn out. That’s a very touchy subject because your “rewards” are just supposed to be that rewards, not required, & just a cool little bonus on top of things.

If it was found out that your “reward” wasn’t actually a reward but a requirement then you’d be facing public outcry & legal action. People could interpret it as you internally shortening break times & making employees compete to get the extra break time which is in reality what their real break time should be.

If you deem that adding extra time to breaks is that impactful to burnout then you’d make it universally added to everyone’s standard break time. Otherwise, this reward is just that & provides no substantial impact to burnout. It’s just a nice little bonus.
