Top pitbull defense breeds ( protect yourselves and your family from evil incarnate )

While I adore my Kangal, I would not recommend them to inexperienced or even some experienced dog owners. My guy does great with people, children, all kinds of livestock, and most dogs (he’s territorial at home, but does fine away from home). He, however, is very smart and thinks for himself. If he perceives a threat I will have to physically remove him from the situation, because he will ignore my commands. While I’m certain that he could overpower me he doesn’t, because I worked diligently training him from the moment I got him. They’re dogs that need a job. We have mountain lions and bears, but in our area the biggest predators are coyotes. Which he has killed. We’ve had several pit bulls show up and he’s good about herding them off without further incident.
