I am not allowed to talk politics anymore. My dad and sister are now rabid Trump hysterical haters. We had a political discussion after looking at land today. Omfg. My sister was so upset she called my mom when she got home. My dad called me a Nazi said why don't you just burn everyone that isn't white ... I said why don't you two move to Brazil and enjoy the diversity utopia you crave ... it will make you stronger.
Then we all agreed to stop talking politics and rode home in complete silence for 15 minutes, lol.
I called my mom after my sister got off the phone with her when we got home.
You honestly can't even say a word to my dad or sister without them yelling over you and then taking what you say and twisting it into why don't we burn everyone who isn't white.
My sister said why don't you try to help black people. I said how am I gonna save them with their near 75 percent out of wedlock birth rate. My dad said I don't believe you that it's that high. I said here, even uncle google will tell you ... he just yelled over me and wouldn't look at my phone.
My mom agrees with me and my two brothers and my uncle, but she can't say anything around my dad. My dad likes to talk about how trump is a womanizer my mom said and then she said those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and I was like holy shit mom.
My mom said don't even talk about it around them. She said all they do is hour you down and you aren't gonna change there mind. She said how would you like to be me out for dinner with my dad and she named a whole bunch of anti-trump family members and friends we know. She said I just have to sit there and listen to them all agree with each other and tell each other how smart they are (that's all they can do ... they can't debate anyone who disagrees with them cause they look like the naive fools they are and will start yelling and shouting you down)
It all started cause I mentioned this an article I read about how migrants "recycle" children at the border to make it look like they are a family and claim asylum. Then the kids are sent back across the border and given to other homeless illiterate uneducated types ... the types that make nations stronger ... who they cross with and claim they are a family.
My dad said ohhhhh yeah where did you read that ... thinking it would be Fox News, which I don't watch ... I said I read it in the rabidly pro-trump conservative bastion known as USA Today, lol.
I swear Trump has made liberals blabbering emotional wrecks who are only capable of yelling, name calling, hyperbole. They don't want to engage in civil debate cause they can't win on the merits.
At one point my sister tried guilt tripping me that my parents didn't raise me to be trashy, like I should feel white guilt that trashy cultures raise their kids to be trashy. I'm supposed to feel guilty my parents corrected my vocabulary and would beat my ass if I walked around with my pants hanging off my body speaking eubonics. I didn't even have that option in life. I'm supposed to feel guilt about it I guess.
