Torn on purchase

I run the 9900K 2080RTX A51M
It's a desktop substitute that runs a dual (180W + 330W for legal compliance) power supply.
Being honest, if you want to move it around often I'd say it's going to be a pain in the ass.
As far as upgrades go, that "feature" exists but has yet to be taken advantage of.
Considering the 2080 card in there and the 9900K that can barely run cool in some desktops without throttling into oblivion - you wont be seeing upgrades any time soon. The memory is restrained to 2400 and the cooling system is "adequate" while bios updates appear to incrementally slow performance to offer up some out the box stability.
The way the updates page is going it looks like they'll be onto the next machine soon.

For a 3k laptop, you shouldn't have to repaste - I did with liquid metal, but one wrong move and wave that machine goodbye.
Another fault (historic) was frame jump/Audio pops caused by dpc latency - this appears resolved in current drivers/win10 updates but required changing hdaudbus to MSI mode instead of an IRQ - not good when it comes out the box a stuttering hot mess.
