Toronto educator to create online video lessons teaching scrapped sex-ed curriculum

I know you might be winding down in this conversation

The best part about social media, I get to it when I get to it and can come back later! :D

I really appreciate you laying that all out for me, overall I think everything you wrote doesn't sound bad at all. I think I am starting to realize that my problem is with public education in general. There is a lot of stuff just in what you reposted above, nevermind the rest of the curriculum. That's a lot of information for teachers to unpack and a lot of opportunities for them to interject their own bias' onto the children as well. I think I would prefer if the children were learning that stuff like I did, from people they trust and love, their friends and family and social circles and the world are not so different now as we would think. I started using IRC when I was about 14 and internet chat rooms were a thing in the early 90's, which is totally comparable to the sexting and being aware of online sexual predators today. I think state (or province) funded schools should stay out of the house as much as possible, but there are obvious overlaps and a large grey area, so these conversations have helped me see that, like we've said, its a pretty complicated issue.

I think I'm just getting old, lol, these fandangled kids and all their technologimagisms, lol.
