Toronto rapper K Money charged in connection to human trafficking investigation

I was a lifelong rap fan and I've strayed away from it in the two years or so because of shit like this. It's just so anti-intellectual. Nothing but who can be the biggest "savage" and who has the longest rap sheet.

Toronto has produced a lot of good artists and also some really grimy ones (does anyone remember Mayhem Morearty?). I can still vibe to some Drake or some P Reign. But overall, the culture is toxic. It was going in that direction for a long time but once Chicago came on to the scene then it turned into a dick measuring contest for who can be the most violent and illiterate.

You don't see R &B singers catching cases.

Just R. Kelly
