As a driver, I agree. Only my personal opinion.

To the other person who said "it's their job to check for id... its not that simple. You could be driving along at 315pm, on schedule, when you come to a stop with 35 kids. Some pay, some just walk in.

If you stop and ask for ids or shout out after those who just walked past you, your bus will fall behind schedule.

Now u are 6 minutes late for you 445 trip. People aren't impressed. "****ING TTC"

Additionally, because it costs nothing, kids often get on for one stop. Sometimes literally 100m. Now I gotta deny an elderly lady entrance because the bus is full.

I'm not saying they should charge kids a lot. Even 1 dollar would be fine.
