I park my rig at my in laws farm and have had a bunch of trips planned where there was literally no way I would have been able to get the trailer out without 4WD because of the rain. I park it behind a barn about 1500ft away from any paved area so it’s a lot of sloshing up and down some grades to get in and out.

I’ve been to a number of unpaved campgrounds where I had to back into sites going back uphill and same story. Without 4 low I would have been stuck spinning tires. Actually my first trip ever with my TT I simply couldn’t get back up the hill and had to switch to 4 low. It wasn’t even wet it was just washed out pebble rock and a very steep grade.

I camp in the foothills of the appalachians and we have some real squirrelly campgrounds around here so probably isn’t needed in a lot of other places. Wouldn’t go without it here
