Toxic Tech Culture Around Asking Questions

I'm also a very sensitive person (think the stereotype but x100) so all I've learned is to not say anything.

Even if I say it 10 times in 10 different ways, nobody will listen unless someone else says it. It's not like they realize what they're doing, but I've reached the point where if someone talks over me, and keeps talking over me, I stop participating and find other people.

It's not just men, either. I was troubleshooting a problem with a woman the other day and I pointed out 2 issues and 1 solution someone gave me but she either didn't care or just glossed over it because after talking to another colleague (who made the same 2 issues I did), she said it was "solved" - using the same solution I told her about!!
