Here are a few of my fave cat products:
cat bed ... your boy is gonna get big! My cat LOVES this bed, and it is machine washable--I got mine a large, and it's just right for a long kitty.
Dr. Catsby Bowl ... i don't buy into wisker fatigue, but this is a sturdy, stainless steel bowl that looks cool an dis easy to clean.
Mice ... best value cat toy ever. My cat loves these. Let your cat see it, then move it to behind a chair leg and it will trigger you cats attack instinct. Da Bird toy
I have this pet fountain, but I think this or https://www.amazon.com/Fountain-Drinking-Automatic-Dispenser-Dishwasher/dp/B06XRCNHLN/ref=sr_1_32?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1504736002&sr=1-32&keywords=pet+fountainwould be better options. Place fountain away from food source for best results.
Toy to grab and bite and kick (instead of letting cat wrestle your hand)
Rolled up ball of tin foil (for batting around on tile or hardwood)
These chew toys for cats ... I leave on in his bed and on in his play area. He wakes up and chews it quite often. And he'll chase the other one if i throw it.
Oh, and this is a favorite: this big fake rat ... i tied a string to it's tail, and I drag it around for my cat to tackle.
I tried some of the more expensive "real" leather buffalo skin toys and handmade stuff, but this is all stuff he likes really well. If you have a dog, make sure your cat has a tree, because it will want someplace up high where it can get away.
Lastly, there are a bunch of great tunnel out there--I like the 3 way ones. And a good litter scoop is worth the $$$.
